High tech becomes nature-friendly

The epoch of thoughtless use of natural resources is coming to its end. We become more and more conscious about damage we cause to nature. Change of mankind's attitude to nature and technological innovations facilitate unfavourable impact on the environment and ecological problems gradually decline their topicality. However, we must admit that these changes can be noticed only in advanced countries. Developing countries still can't afford ecological programs and nature-friendly technologies because of their high costs. Moreover, they are so inspired by rapid growth of their economy that they don't want to slow this process of technological development. It is so very understandable, because these countries are tired of centuries-old poverty and starvation and want to reach higher standards of life as quickly as possible. They simply don't have time and motivation for nature-friendly innovations, because their economic problems require all their attention. Rush for progress and economic welfare has its grounds but this approach is short-sighted. Trying to reach higher standards of life, we slowly kill ourselves. This fact undermines the reason for all our strivings for better life.
Fortunately, ecological organisations have managed to influence world leading countries and their governments to adopt appropriate ecological laws and restrictions to reduce environmental damage. Owing to newest technologies our industry has managed to diminish air pollution, it has learned to produce nature-friendly cars, which are equipped with electric engines and so on. Each new day brings us pleasant news about environmental protection. The air in megalopolises has become fresher, cities' environment becomes less unhealthy and people in general have become more ecologically conscious. They use their automobiles only in emergency situations and prefer to go on foot or ride bicycles when they are not in a hurry. It is good, indeed, but it is still to too little to make a radical change in our relationship with nature. Numerous exhaust pipes of our plants still pollute air and make a terrible canvas of antropogenous landscape. When we see this horrible picture we lose heart. Our attempts to reduce our harmful impact on nature seem nothing at the sight of these huge pipes.
People can be easily compared with parasites. They live in an organism (nature), depend on it and at the same time devastate it. When we stop parasitizing and learn be a part of nature, we will face radiant future.
