Bluetooth: harm or salvation

Mankind strives for constant development. Today's life differs from past times greatly and new technological era dictates its rules and changes rhythm of our lives, lifestyle and people's habits. Owing to innovations in the sphere of high technologies, people can now easily solve problems, which seemed impracticable before. These innovations have facilitated our life greatly. On the other hand, now we have to fulfil much more work than people fulfilled in past times. This peculiarity can be observed by means of many examples, one of which is using mobile phones.

Earlier people had to discuss all their matters in person. With the emergence of telephony people got an opportunity to settle all their problems with each other at a remote distance. On the one hand it saved much time, because the need to move was reduced to the minimum. On the other hand with the lapse of time people had to discuss a greater amount of matters, because they faced new tasks, new responsibilities, had to make more plans, and thus the necessity of interaction with each other was increasing day by day. This process continues nowadays. People have to make such a great number of telephone calls per day that it is difficult for them to take their phones to make a call and put them again into their pockets. At first sight this problem seems rather far-fetched and one can think that modern people have grown lazy down to the limit. This point of view would be reasonable if some people hadn't had to make about 100 and more calls per day. Just imagine a situation, when you take your phone from the pocket and put it there after the end of your call all the time.

Fortunately, busy people, who depend on their mobile phones very much, have now a possibility to use a wonderful facility – headphones, based on Bluetooth technology. Thanks to this tiny appliance people spare their movements and nerves.

As a rule each innovation is treated suspiciously by conservative circles of people. They suspect Bluetooth of being extremely harmful for people's health. Bluetooth headphones are attached to ears tightly and are placed too close to user's brain. Bluetooth, just as any other electronic device based on wireless transmission of data, produces electromagnetic radiation. Opponents of wireless technologies claim that the fact that Bluetooth headphones are the unhealthiest among other brand-new inventions for two reasons. The first reason is their closeness to the brain and the second is their permanent operating regime. They say that while mobile phones are used at times and thus their harmful influence is reduced by this fact, Bluetooth headphones cause harm to one's brain all day long.

Opponents don't take into account the fact that the level of electromagnetic radiation is much less than that of headphones. In whole prolonged radiation produced by Bluetooth headphones is less harmful than temporary radiation of mobile phones. It turns out that this invention serves as a salvation from dangerous mobile phones. The larger is the distance between our body and our phone, the better it is for our health. Of course, Bluetooth's radiation is also harmful to some extent but of two evils choose the least.
